Bar: A    Great bar with very friendly staff, includes full restaurant with awesome food.

Amenities:  A-   Restrooms in clubhouse with locker room, very clean and stocked.  Also, have restrooms that serve holes 4 and 14 green.  Well placed and clean.

Price: $$  Best value in Idaho! Green fees were very affordable for an amazing course.  $42 with a cart on Saturday.

Practice facilities:  B   Driving range is located away from the course, cart needed.  Range  conditions were amazing.  Very small putting green but was in very good shape as well.

Staff friendliness: A+   Staff here is extremely friendly and wants every visitor to have a great experience.  Club pro Brian Kain is extremely helpful and creates a culture that is second to none.

Carts (if riding):  B-   Normal carts, no GPS or extras. Good shape and clean. Carts are older without ball or club washers.  Worked great.

Tee boxes:  A-     Above average tee boxes.  Mostly flat and in great shape.

Bunkers:   A     Sand was amazing and consistent throughout entire course.  Raked and very consistently.  I found the sand many times throughout the day and actually was able to get up-and-down twice!

Fairways:  A     Fairways are in good condition overall, no noticeable bad spots.

Greens:  A+    Above average greens on this course.  They are well taken care of, soft yet very fast.  They rolled very consistent and were smooth.

Course Conditions:  A      Overall conditions are awesome, grass is manicured nicely.

Difficulty:  7.5     This course is of medium difficulty.  Not super long but has many areas that can get you in trouble.  Par 5’s are reachable and there are a couple drivable par 4’s.  I am terrible so this is from the white tees.

Ambiance:  A     This course is located about 30 minutes from Twin Falls. Awesome views of the Snake River and Clear Lake Fish Hatchery.

Overall Rating:  A+     Clear Lake Country Club is an absolute gem of a course.  This is off the beaten path but WELL worth the drive.  This is one of my absolute favorite courses in Idaho.  It combines Southern Idaho desert with the beauty of the Snake River and Snake River Canyon.  It somehow brings the right amount of elevation change, views, and impeccable conditions to deliver the best of golf experiences.  My hat is off to you Clear Lake Country Club!!
